How to use this tool
Enter minimum, maximum and count. Choose whether repeats are allowed and whether to sort the displayed results. Negative numbers and equal bounds are supported.
How it works
Uniform integer sampling uses Web Crypto and rejection sampling, so mapping into the requested range does not favor some values. With repeats disabled, values are sampled without replacement, then shuffled. Sorting only changes their display order.
Example
For 1–10 with five unique results, every result is an integer in that range and none repeats. A possible draw is 8, 2, 10, 4, 1.
Good to know
Use these tools for classroom activities, games, practice data and everyday decisions. Set your rules before generating. Each click makes a fresh draw; a repeated result is possible.
Frequently asked questions
Does the maximum count?
Yes. Both minimum and maximum are eligible. If they are equal, that value is the only possible result.
